So, you may not see new pics of me yet but let me tell you what I've been doing.
Over Labor Day I rolled over for the first time. I did it three times in a row. I did it again tonight. Mommy was so excited. Then she got super excited when I was on my tummy and I pushed up with my arms. She's been wanting me to do that for a long time.
A few weeks ago I FINALLY laughed at Daddy. And since then he's even got me giggling. Mommy got me giggling today too. She's been driving me crazy doing ALL kinds of stuff trying to get me to laugh, as if my adorable huge smile (with dimples even) is not enough!
I have seen lots of people too. I met my cousin Laurin (or en?) who lives in Oklahoma. She's only a few months older than me. I took notes so I can do stuff that's she's doing. I met all of her family too. They laughed alot, kind of like my mom. Aunt Melissa & Uncle James still come by a lot, even though I'm usually fussy when they are around. I can't seem to stop crying between 8-9 pm...I'm just so tired from my busy days! My Oma Dina tried to teach me how to give a kiss. Mommy and Daddy kiss my cheeks constantly. When they do I open my mouth. Oma put my mouth to her cheek so I could give her a kiss.
Oh, and my Daddy set up my "exersaucer". It overwhelms me. I like it cuz I get to sit up/stand up like a big girl. But I just kind of sit there and bob my head and loooooooook at everything. Mommy took a picture of me in it, too bad you can't see it yet. She's hopeing it will teach me to reach for things.
Tonight I sat at the dinner table and watched Mommy & Daddy eat. It was fun. I've never done that at home before.
Now that Mommy is avoiding most dairy foods I am even less fussy (except for 8-9pm). I am having trouble napping though. I sleep for about 45 min. then I wake up. I am so tired so I cry real loud but I really just need to go to sleep and Mommy can't figure out why I'm not making that transition into another sleep cycle. Beats me!
I went to my first surprise Birthday Party. Daddy was holding me on the cool fancy stairs when everyone yelled, "Surprise!" It scared me to so I cried but Daddy told me it was okay. I got to watch my friend Avery (she's 6 months old) eat. Now, I just started watching Mommy & Daddy eat but watching Avery was fun. She was messy. I took lessons from her too.
That's all I can think of right now. I hope that helps fill you in on everything I'm learning and doing. I'm having so much fun.
