Claire!

This is Omi and Opa's cat Claire.  I have known her since she was a kitty.  But I don't see her often so she forgets who I am and forgets that I love her.  I got to have a sleepover with Omi last night.  We stayed up super late, Opa bought me a real guitar, and Claire finally remembered me this morning.  It was a super fun sleepover!

I've been creating art this summer.  

 Mommy and I did portraits of each other.  This the one she did of me and we love it.

 The one on the left is the one I did of Mommy.

 When I first started drawing Lucy she said, "Wow!" Then she said, "Wait!  I need lipstick".  After a while she got mad and said, "I don't have a mustache!"  She thought I drew a mustache on her and she was mad at me.

 I was inspired to get my easel out and draw portraits after watching a bunch of Mr. Rogers one day.  I love that guy.
