This morning's conversation

Mommy: Good morning! We have to get ready for school.
Me: I miss Mrs. Header (Heather) and Mrs. Kathy and I miss my friends.

Mommy: Okay, are you ready to roll?
Me: Yes, but I want to take my baby. Can I take my baby?
Mommy: Yes, you can bring my baby.
Me: She is ready to roll.

Me: Look, it's a black cow! It's little.
Me: Look it's more black cows. They are eating.
Mommy: What are they eating?
Me: Grass.
Mommy: Yeah, they are eating grass for breakfast.

Me: Look, it's my class.
Mommy: You see your school?
Me: Yes, it's my school and class.

Mommy dropped me off at school and I was the last one in my class cuz Mommy let me sleep in. The kids were having a snack and were all seated so even though they were talking loudly I had their attention and said, "Okay everybody, be quiet!" And they didn't really listen so I scooted back a little and said it all again using bigger arm motions. Mrs. Header (heather) and my Mommy were giggling but I sat down and ate my snack too, then Jack fell out his chair and that was kind of funny.

Finally Mommy said, "Ivy..." and I looked at her out of the corner of my eye and said, "I love you." and we blew kisses to each other.

My friend Abby

This is my friend Abby. I love to play with her. I get to see her sometimes at church and sometimes on Thursday nights. I really do like her and she likes me. Here we are at her house. We decided we didn't want to wear our pants anymore.
And we decided it was a great idea to put our feet in the bowls.

On this particular night I got in trouble a lot for not listening to Mommy and I had to sit in a corner a few times. Abby kept trying to give me toys but Mommy wouldn't let her. She's such a good friend!

Playing with Daddy's flying monkey

Daddy has a flying monkey. When he makes it fly it makes loud monkey noises that I don't like. It sounds like it is crying. So I just like loving on the monkey.

sorry and potty

We're sorry we are pretty slow at posting pics and videos these days.

Since Daddy got home from school he has had me in panties and for some reason I've been pretty compliant, not like when Mom suggests it. They have both been trying to get me to sit on the big potty or my other red potty. I have peed in my panties lots and have told them when I am wet and I walk very funny in the wet panties cuz they feel yuckky. It makes my parents laugh.

Tonight, I went to Mommy who was on the computer and said, "Mommy, I want to go on the big girl potty." So Mommy jumped up and we eventually made it there cuz I was distracted by something I dropped. I had peed a tiny bit in my pants but then I did it in the potty. My Mommy was very proud and I was very excited to get to wear my princess crown and get a lollipop.

Mommy said it's too bad we have to go to church tomorrow cuz she doesn't trust me to wear panties away from home since that's the first time I realized I was gonna potty.

Stay tuned.

Mary Engelbreit's Nursery Rhymes

My Aunt Celia bought me this book because my Mommy loves Mary Engelbreit. When we read these nursery rhymes I love looking at the pictures.

I like to sing the song about Hey Diddle Diddle lately. So I was excited to see this page in the book. Mommy took a picture of the dish and spoon. That's because I like that the spoon has a ticket in his hand and maybe they are going to a movie. But I told Mommy it wasn't a dish, it was a plate.
When Mommy started reading about Miss Muffet I gasped, looked at the picture, then pointed to the picture exactly like it on my wall. I was so excited to see that they match!
I did not like this next picture. I was very very upset. I don't like the baby in the tree and I told Mommy that the baby needed to be on the ground in its bed so that it is safe.

I love Larry Boy (esp. up close)

Some jump rope games

I like this pink jump rope. I am too small to use it but I was impressed that my Mommy can jump rope like you're suppose to. She taught me how to share the rope and use it. We took turns coming up with games. Before Mommy started recording I would count backwards starting at 6 and say something that sort of sounded like "Blast off".

It's my fault my hair is crazy. Mommy fixed it really cute with a ribbon but I liked the ribbon so much I took it out so I could play with it.

Playing with Asa

This is my friend Asa. We have been pals for a long long time. We had music class together and then our Mommies would exercise together and we'd get to play some more. I don't get to see him much anymore but I like it when we do. We got to play together in the park last week.

sad snail

Mommy likes how I colored this. She likes how I tried to draw big lines like the snail's body. When she gave it to me I told her the snail was sad.

Sesame Street

oops, photoshop and blogger don't agree on this photo again. I saw this tag on a shirt and looked at Mommy then said, "Sesame Street!" I though it might be my Abby Cadabby shirt but it wasn't.

too skinny

I am still super skinny. Even though I will be 3 soon, most 2T jeans don't fit me. If they don't have an adjustable elastic band inside, forget it. Even a big safety pin will barely do.

Jesus walked on water

I brought this home from school one day. Daddy and I were talking about it and he was making my Jesus move.
I said, "Jesus walked on water." Then I paused and looked at Daddy and said, "Weird."
Then I went on my merry way.

Is this really me?

Yesterday I woke up from my nap with my hair like this and me telling Mommy, "I just couldn't sleep."
And I spent the rest of the night like this.

My mom is great

I told my Mommy I wanted green milk in my cereal today and she made me green milk!

Here is yesterday's conversation:

Tiny books must be read LOUDLY.

On the library computer.

Mommy absolutely loves this.

How to eat a cupcake (atleast the best part) with your whole heart.

just me

Mommy can't decide if I look like my Aunt Celia or my Aunt Terri in this first picture.
