My friend Asa had a pool party cuz he turned 3 like me. Asa was glad to see me even though he was playing like a fish in the pool. I didn't want to go in. Mommy finally got me in and I remembered that I really like swimming as long as there are no leaves or bugs in the pool. I didn't want to get out (except to jump off the side) it was so much fun. I sat here when my swimsuit was all wet. Mommy thought my bottom imprint was "adorable." It's hard to give hugs with floaties on and an oversized birthday hat. Here I am sharing the bat, it was this little girl's turn after me. I didn't really know why we were doing this. But hitting stuff with a bat is fun even if you're clueless. Eventually lots of candy came out of this thing!

Mommy took me blueberry picking.

Oops! Mommy posted these pictures backwards!
Here I am all hot, sweaty, and red-faced from picking berries for an hour. It was one of the hottest days we've had.

I liked feeling all of the berries in my hand.
Yep, redfaced and still focused.

Our blueberries are beautiful.
This is the blueberry farm dog. I really liked him and called him "big Jack" because he made me think of my friend Olivia's dog. For a while I tried to follow him all over the farm. Mom didn't think that was a great idea because it could be hard to find me. But big Jack eventually came back to see me.
Mommy kept telling me to not pick the blueberries that were on the ground. I did it anyway.

I worked very hard and was very focused on not picking the green ones.

I asked Mommy if I could try the very first blueberries I picked. I ate them and said, "Mmmm." Mommy said it was a good thing we missed strawberry season because we wouldn't have come home with anything.
I was excited about going blueberry picking as soon as Mommy told me what we were doing for the day. We almost filled this whole bucket.

Summer fun with Sadie

When we were at Sadie's house her Mommy bought her a really cool swimming pool! I loved standing in it and playing.

Sadie liked standing BY the pool and pouring water on the ground...but she still got wet doing that. She was really funny.

I would never sit down in the water.
We think this video of Sadie is so very funny and it makes me laugh every time.

Funky restaurant in Louisville!

Here are some pictures of our good time at a weird and fun restaurant in Louisville.
A disco ball caught my eye as soon as we sat down.
A flying pig and tea bag pants!
Um, I like to sing a lot, esp. when I think no one is listening.
Sadie being cute.
In my own world singing.
Riding a cow.
Neither Sadie nor I were real excited about being a fork or a spoon.
Riding the blue sheep.
Daddy being a silly orange.

googly eyed glasses

We went to this really cool restaurant in Louisville. Mommy bought me some googly eyed glasses at the gift shop. I liked them a lot and I spent some quality time in the bathroom in front of the mirror trying them out.

My new friend Sadie.

This is my new friend Sadie. We are of like-minds and neither of us thought it was funny that Mommy was standing in front of our Elmo movie.

jammin!

vacation

Here's the first leg of our vacation. It's a long ways to my Aunt Celia's. I just can't stay awake the whole time.
It's always a party at my Aunt Celia's! It's super fun to sing, play instruments and get sweaty.

We got to go to a very big park in St. Louis even though it was sprinkling.

I told Mommy this is where Jesus lives:
But really the bathrooms are in here...and when I would sing or talk it was REALLY loud. I liked it.
It was cold so I wasn't sure about the water fountain stuff...
...at first.

I was super cold after I got all wet!
Here's me and my Aunt Celia getting in some playtime before we get back in the car and head to Louisville, Kentucky.
