Oh, yesterday I said, "Hi" back to Mommy. She thought this would be my first word but it's taken me forever. And I wouldn't say it again.

Sunday jam

Sometimes on Sundays I get up late & I have to eat my breakfast at church. Mom sits me here and I rock out to the band playing.

Napkins

Not long ago I discovered the napkin basket. It is most fun to wipe your face with them and put then on your ears & head.

I have my first war mark. I have a bruise on my cheek. It's not real dark so Mom can't really get a good picture of it. I was just standing there then I kind of fell over and hit my cheek on Mom's chair. Definitely have a bruise.

Gabby

This is my friend Gabby. I usually go visit her on Wed. afternoons but not this week & not next week. My Mommy calls her "scooter" cuz she scoots on her butt all the time. It's funny. Sometimes when I get close to Gabby she grunts & it makes me cry. I think Gabby thinks it's interesting but I don't.

We are just a few days old apart. Gabby has so much hair, esp. in the back, you could braid it!

Oh oh

I'm havin' a good day. Mom didn't take me to the movie day. I stayed up til noon & then slept for 2 hours. Today's most interesting toy is Mom's shoe laces on her tennis shoes. They are F U N. I also like carrying around the shoe.

This afternoon I've also been carrying around the phone and talking. It's weird cuz sometimes I hear a rapid beeping sound & Mom comes and fixes it.

Daddy is excited cuz he's understanding some of my words like, "clap" and "more".

I had an accident and hit my cheek on Mom's chair. I cried some but not much. Mom is always so proud of me when I fall & am tough. But she's soothing when it REALLY hurts & I have to cry.

Today I heard a song playing in Daddy's room & I sang along with the "oohhh ohhhh"s. He liked it. Mommy says I'm walking really fast today.

I had fun at VBS last night. Except my Mommy was touching Katherine a lot & I didn't like that. And then Katherine was playing with something I really wanted to chew on so I took it from her. Mommy took it from me and gave it back to Katherine! That made me super mad cuz Katherine didn't cry when I took it away from her so what's the big diff? I played with the ever so cute Ethan, Aunt Bob, my Debra & my Brian. I hugged on Aunt Melissa & hung out with Uncle James.

Oma is suppose to come over tonight. Woohoo! More pig sooie!

Pig Sooie?

My Oma and Opa taught me this cool thing. It's called calling the hogs. Mommy and Daddy do not approve. But facts are that I'm an Arkansas girl and this is a skill I might use the rest of my life.

My favorite part is the "WoooooOOOO" part. Oh, and I like watching Oma & Opa do it.



















I also did something cool the other night. I was in the car with Mom, Dad, James & Melissa. Mommy sang, "I can make my hands go" and I said & did, "clap clap clap." Everyone was impressed (except Mom, she knew I'd do that).

Dad's Day

Here I am giving Dad his Dad's Day presents. He and I liked them.

Mr. Moon

I discovered the moon! We were on a family walk, me in my cool red wagon. Mom was walking behind me. She noticed me focused on the pretty sky. Then she realized I was staring at the moon. So she named it for me. It followed me all the way home.

Playing with Dad is super super fun. And you can hear me counting in this one.

Visiting

I went to Blossom Hill Assisted Living today with Mom. This was my 2nd time. When we go there are some old people sitting in a circle in a room. Today I brought a bag of toys. So four of us played with the toys. I walked around the room & made eyes at people. I let two of them hold me. Mommy was very proud of me.

I saw Vera from last time and met Rosie & Maxine. They had crackers here too so I was glad to eat them cuz that's my new love.

I had the most fun showing them how good I can walk. I walked and walked and walked. I got super tired though & started crying after we'd been there almost an hour. Mommy and I walked to each person and touched their hand and told them goodbye. She said we'll be back next month. Yay!

Toddleing

I just wanted to tell you today that I'm gettin' super good at this walking thing. Today I figured out that I don't need anything to help me stand up. So now when I fall I don't need to crawl somewhere to get help to stand back up. It's great.


Both Mommy & Daddy took me to the library today. I guess Dad just wanted to make sure no one pushed me around again. I had a very good time. I enjoyed the songs while I walked the room & smiled at people & patted my belly.

I walked all the way to the stage & climbed up the step. Then when I wanted down I tried to step down & I tumbled. Daddy was on his way but not fast enough. It was okay. Once I gathered myself up, making sure everything worked, I got up & tried again.

I played with Rainbow the parrot puppet for a long time. I loved on him.

I discovered what some of the other kids were doing. They were looking through a tub of books. So I went over there & one by one, started throwing the books out of the tub. Then a little boy would pick the books up & take them to the stage by my Mommy. We were a good team.

Check these out...they are face huggers. They are my Aunt Melissa's.

My two big top teeth are coming through nicely. Not painless just nicely. I am feeling better today. I was able to walk the whole house & mess around for a long time today. It was nice for all of us that I was not whiney & crying just cuz I was uncomfortable.

Today at lunch I told Mom I wanted "mo" while I did sign language for "more." Mommy has shown me how to sign "please" a couple times. Today when she asked me if I could say please, I did. She was excited. Then she just about fell out of her chair in excitement when I signed "more please." Daddy was surprised & proud too.

Signing what I want does not mean I am not impatient. I am very impatient when it comes to food. But it is nice to be able to tell Mom when I want more. She is also teaching me the sign for "drink". I like that sign & I used it today too.

Mommy and Daddy said we are going to "wing fest" tonight. I am excited about getting a set of wings so I can fly places. Wait. Mommy just said it wasn't that kind of wing fest. Darn it!

Rice Boppy

Sometimes on Sunday morning our church does a project. Lots of times we bag rice for people who need free stuff. So on this Sunday I helped my Aunt Melissa do it. And basically she and Rhonda made me a "rice boppy" so I wouldn't fall off the table.

Park

We have this itty bitty park in our neighborhood. It's usually quiet there. Here's a snippet of me enjoying it. I saw a bird and watched it fly by. Neat!

present

A while back I got a package in the mail. It was from my friend Ella who is my age & lives in MA. She remembered my birthday! Daddy helped me open the package. I did a pretty good job. It was a play piano. We were borrowing one from the church, but Dad is thankful for this one. He said the other one was flat. It didn't look flat to me!

So none of the videos of me in my wagon are very exciting. But in this super short one, you can see how far I can turn my neck! Something besides Mom was pretty interesting.

Sometimes when we take a family evening walk Daddy prefers to take the wagon. I like it too. And lots of people smile at us. Tonight I waved at people who were not there (unless I see dead people...ooh, creepy). This wagon is perfect cuz it has a backrest & a seatbelt. I have a great time in it, can you tell?

better

I feel better today. My temperature was down to normal last night. But I didn't sleep well. I just wouldn't go to sleep last night. I got up early too. I took a 30 min. nap but Mom woke me up. She NEVER does that. She took me to a movie theater. I saw my friend Tanner as soon as we got into the dark auditorium. She played with me while we waited for the movie to start. I was squirmy. I ate my cheerios like some people eat popcorn. You know, you grab a handful then shove it in your mouth. It's messy that way.

On the screen there was a slide with a picture of a man grabbing his own hair on both sides so every time I saw it, I did the same thing. Well, I tried anyway. My Tanner also taught me to say "Bob"

The movie finally started and I chilled out on Mom for a while & I talked a little bit. Then I kept getting skootchy so Mom kept giving me toys and my silky. I'd chill for a while then get skootchy again. We watched the movie for an hour then Mom and I were so tired we had to go home. We went home and napped for an hour and half.

It was kinda fun and Mommy says we'll try again next week cuz the movie was only a dollar each.

fever

This is pretty much all I did today. Last evening I had a fever of 102. And when your temperature is that high you don't feel good & you just want to sleep.

I still had a fever this morning. Dad was up with me wayyyy early this morning letting me watch Baby Einstein for a while til I was ready to go back to sleep.

Then when I got up for real I ate some banana & went back to bed. Then I got up again & Dad made a spot for me on the floor where I could lounge with my blanky and watch more Baby Einstein. Mom said I was so cute. She laid down with me when I got a little whiney. Sometimes I just wanted her near me but she kept tryin' to get me to learn stuff while I watched my movies. I didn't feel like learning. After a while in the early afternoon Mom felt me and I wasn't quite as hot & I played some. I ate some & went back to bed.

Daddy is sure I feel this way cuz I'm getting my big front tooth. You can see it better today. Mommy says I will get more than one.

Mom had a really hard time getting a nice picture of me. I was just too squirmy & wouldn't look up at her.
