stampin' fun

Mommy showed me this new thing. It's called stamping. I have always played with her stamps, but not like this.

When Mommy made me stop I had ink on my elbows, legs, and face.

snug as a bug in a rug

Mommy caught me playing with my old kids. I was laying them on my napper and then laying the sock on top.

I would tuck them in and quietly say, "Nye nye, have sweet dreams".

Mommy showed me how to make the socks sleeping bags and I giggled and kept them like this for days.

First day of Kids Day Out

Mommy tried to take a picture of me on my first day of KDO but I was more interested in my tiny barrette I was holding.

Here I am ready to go.
When Mommy dropped me off, I was excited to play & went right in while she took care of business.
Then I looked at her with very sad eyes, but no tears.
I gave her hugs and kisses and she left.
Miss Heather said I was perfect, with no problems (that's cuz it's super duper fun).
She told Mommy I laid down but didn't ever fall asleep (that's cuz everything was so new to me, I didn't want to miss a single thing).
I forgot about Mommy all day (shhh!) until she came to get me. I was glad to see her but was super duper tired!

Daddy had a birthday

Daddy had a birthday on Tuesday so Mom and I took him out to eat. I was an excellent girl and in an excellent mood. Daddy and I played and colored before we got our food. The waiter brought out sweet potato fries with dipping sauce and I gobbled it up!

We went to a party last Saturday night and I got to play some drums.

Napping mat

This is my napping mat for Kids Day Out. It's awesome cuz it just rolls up nice and neat. Mommy's friend Claudia made it for me years ago.
Thanks Claudia, I love it.

Rainbows

I like finding shapes. I especially like finding rainbows. I helped Mommy make supper one night and I showed her that the noodles I was stirring were actually rainbows.

That same day we bought me a belt, cuz I'm just so skinny. I would bend it and say, "A rainbow!"

Here are some animals I saw at the fair.Bunnies are really cute.

I really liked these sheep. I showed Mommy they were cuddling.

This little doggie made me giggle.

Mommy said we also needed to take in some art.
After we were finished I said, "Let's go see the elephants."
They didn't have any.

Kid's Day Out open house

Tomorrow is my first day to go to Kids Day Out. This is a picture of Thursday when we went to meet my teachers and see my classroom. We stayed for an hour because I was having so much fun.

(When we started to take a picture I heard sirens. I don't like them even though I will tell you I like them and I will tell you they help people.)
At KDO visitation I met a girl who gave me candy and I said Thank you every time.
When she went down the slide in our classroom I said, "Good job slide!"
When she was shutting the play door on me while I was trying to get to the slide, I told her to stop shutting the door and I was obviously annoyed.
And when I was coloring shapes and said, "Color the triangle, color the circle" my teachers were quite impressed that I knew my shapes.
I cried very loud when Mommy made us leave.
I just know I'm gonna like it!

After I headed for the door I said, "I ready to go to store."

Red boot dancing and running

I brought my red boots to Mommy the other day and said, "socks?" So Mommy helped me put my boots on.

And I danced and jumped in the kitchen.

Then I ran really fast in them.

Then I ran very fast and stopped at the corner. I liked it there.

I finally got to use my umbrella. I got to get the mail in the rain, but I wanted to take a long walk with it.

I like "pocakes"

Really, I just like the frosting. I figured out a way to eat them without getting my hands more dirty, all by myself.

Cuddlin' with my Daddy.

Daddy had to go back to work this week. And when he gets home he is super tired. When I catch him sleeping, I say, "Wake up Daddy". Or I go get him. He doesn't mind when I cuddle with him. He says I don't do it enough.

Baby Cora

This is the real baby Cora (not my dolly named Cora). I like her. Here I am reading to her about the smelly turtle.

We had a babysitter yesterday cuz our Mommies were working. And the babysitter let me hold Cora. I was super proud. I like holding babies.

One of my favorite things ever! I could swing a very long time. One time I was on the swing so long Daddy thought I was gonna get sick. He said I looked pale & he had to carry me all the way home.

Tonight I picked up a pink gift bag Mommy had out. I carried it around and said, "Okay, let's go to the park" over and over but I don't think anyone heard me.

My favorite puppy

This is one of my favorite toys. I like to carry him around all the time and I like to bark for him. He was a prize at Fun City for turning in tickets.
