Halloween!

Mom says it's Halloween. I don't know what that means. My church had a party and there were some weird kids there. There was a witch, a storm trooper, pac man, and Carrie Underwood was there. My mom put me in this outfit. She put a bow in my hair and said I was a cheerleader. My friend Debra painted "#1" on my face, it felt funny. My Mommy threw some clothes on and said she was a gardener. Mommy also said this lady with the hat, hair & nose ring was my Aunt Melissa but I didn't believe her. Here's some pictures of me.

Mom is a little behind on updating everything. Today I took part in something amazing. I went to the Fayetteville library. I've been there before but today I went to the bookworms class. There were TONS of babies there! Some of them were moving all over the floor by themselves. Mom says some were walking & some were crawling. I went with my new friends Amy & Olivia. Olivia is 3 weeks older than me & sits up all by herself! It is so cool. Anyway, this lady who I think lives at the library (LUCKY) sang lots of really fun songs with us. I sang along even though I didn't know the words. I was excited the minute I walked in there & talked/sang half way through it all. Mom threw me up in the air...singing something about popcorn. Everyone waved their arms a bunch.

Olivia and I were tired even though it didn't last very long. I sat in the backseat with her. On the way home we both cried. I think I was loudest. I definitely had more tears & redder eyes than her. I think we're gonna go back lots! Yippee!

This is me and my mom. We get to spend lots of time together. She's taking a picture of us. I didn't want to look at the camera cuz we were outside and there's so much to look at!

Has anyone noticed that I'm getting more hair?! Just in time for winter.

This is me...5 months old. Daddy was making me smile. Today I reached for him. That really made his day, like you wouldn't believe. I am still 25 inches long, I didn't gain even an inch this month. I weigh 12 pounds 11 ounces. I'm quite the petite little lady huh?!

Mommy dresses me extra pretty for church. Just look at this sweater... and these bootie slipper things are so fancy. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to eat my sweater or not but it was nice to chew on. And those things on my feet....I couldn't keep them on...I wonder why.

Here's pics of me the first time I ate cereal and the first time I ate with a spoon. I'm still doing it once a day! I don't like it when Mommy washes me cuz the wash rag is cold!

Mom can't take me anywhere! People stop to look at me & talk to Mommy about me. Today a lady at the library carried on a conversation with me. It was fun. I was trying to tell her how much I liked the baby einstein dvds they have there ( I was trying to get mom out of a $2 late charge). We checked out another one. I picked this time. Mom held one up in front of me & I smiled at the turtle. On the way into Sam's another lady said I was cute. Then the lady who works at Sam's told my mom I needed a blanket. Is that lady crazy? I get so hot! Then the Pharmacist told my Mommy that I was smart, she could tell by how interested I am in everything. Daddy was just telling Mommy the other night that I was smart. My Grandma called last night. She sang to me. I miss her & need to see her.

I have tons of pjs & I like all of them. Have I told you how much I like standing?!

I'm not just a pretty face. I have rolled over from my tummy to my back all by myself twice now.

Wow, I LOVE my feet. Mommy and I were shopping yesterday & I liked sitting in my carrier holding my feet. Of course, other shoppers thought I was cute too!

Cool! Look at this. Daddy took me into this thing he called a "hot tub". It was neat cuz it kind of made bubbles. It wasn't too hot & I really liked it. Thanks Pat & Carol!

My Mommy use to have a job, besides taking care of me. Those nice people bought be this, BEFORE THEY EVEN MET ME! Do you see how cool it is? At first I just liked "sitting" in it cuz I could actually kind of stand which I really like. I also liked looking at the print on the seat, it has worms or something on it, just like my baby einstein dvds. Now that I sit in it a little every day, I'm actually learning how to reach. I've discovered that if I just stand here reaching with my head & mouth open, well, nothing happens. I am having so much fun with it. I can talk to anything on this thing & I can bang on it & reach for stuff. It's sooooo cool!
