Halloween fun

This afternoon Mommy helped me have some Halloween fun because I told her I loved Halloween.  Really, I mostly love dressing up in costumes.  When we went to the Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago I went on a pumpkin hunt and found this little one. Mommy let me decorate it today.  I first drew the happy face (which Mommy says looks like a great Jack-O-Lantern's mouth) and then filled in the rest.  The think under one of his eyes is a tattoo.  I draw those a lot.  I was mostly concerned that my J.O.L. had eyebrows.

I practiced writing my name.  Mommy liked it even though it is backwards.  I have never showed her that I can do this.  When she asks me to write I refuse.  But this was my idea because I wanted to write my name on my pumpkin!

Mommy worked on our other small pumpkin in the backyard.  She thought I'd like to see what was inside.
It was gross and I didn't want to help clean it out so I let her do it.
Then she made a real JACK-O-LANTERN!  We love it.  She even used the part that I decorated.
We think it's a jack o lantern dressed up as a pirate.
I took a picture of my Mommy with our JOL.  And look!  He works!:

Treats on the Fayetteville square

Yesterday my Nana was here and I took her trick or treating.  Sort of.  We went to the Fayetteville square and got lots of candy and saw TONS of great costumes.  I loved wearing my costume but I also really liked everyone else's.
We ran into my bestest friend Olivia and her family.  You can't see her brother, Malachi, in this picture very well but he was Bob the Builder.  The best thing about his costume is his pants fell down when we were crossing the street!

Of course Lucy came too.  She was excellent the whole time!

When we were done we went and got PIZZA!  I loved it.  This whole thing was super fun for me!
Lucy and I were super pooped on our way home!

Fun times at the lake

A while ago we got to go to a lake and see my James and Melissa and their family.  We did this last year and I loved it.
One reason I love it is because Melissa has a niece that is 1 year older than me.  I like playing with her and following her around.  I also tried to do something fancy on the swings like she did but I fell off.  It wasn't very fun then.

Look at my crazy hair here!
Drinking water like this was super fun.
We saw James and Daddy on the kayaks (see pic above) so I raced them back to our camp.
Here is one of my treasures I found, it is a big marshmallow:

Here's another treasure I found:
And here's the other treasure we've found.  I've seen 2 more of these walking sticks since then.
This was the best part of the day:
Melissa let us use our sidewalk chalk on her body!  I thought it was so funny.
Thanks for inviting us to come for some camping fun!
