Last snow day

We had one more really big snow and it was super fun! The flakes were big and the snow was sticky.
While Daddy and I played in the snow Mommy made us some yummy hot stew.

Rhubarb learned how to catch snowballs.

Even though I like the snow, I tell Mommy it's spring every time we see flowers growing.

The library

One of my favorite things about the library is these little brown kids. I like to sit by them every time we go. This time I asked Mommy to keep taking pictures of me with them while we read a book.

stupenous

Mommy showed me the beautiful, perfectly round orange moon tonight. And I told her the stars were stupendous.

Chuck E. Cheese!

I earned a visit to Chuck E. Cheese! Mommy and I agreed that if I slept in my big girl room in my big girl bed for 5 nights I would get to go to Chuck E. Cheese. And what made the whole thing even better is that my friend Livi and her family came with us! I am so glad I did it because we had so much fun!
I called Chuck e. Cheese to tell him I was here and he could come out and play but he never did show up!

I took the car to try and find him and I never found him:
I found these "monkeys" though and I liked them.

Livi took us on a while ride:

I thought this would be fun with Daddy but it was kind of boring.
Ski ball was kind of fun, but a little dangerous.

In the end we decided ski ball was too hard so we just climbed up and put the balls in the holes.
Yay for Chuck E. Cheese!

photo session with Mom

One day Mom said I just looked absolutely adorable (one of my favorite words) so she wanted to take some pictures of me.
I thought it was boring so I posed.

Hiking with my family

Rhubarb made lots of friends.
Daddy and I threw rocks.

I fell down.
I had fun.

Playing at church

People call us the three amigos at church when you can see us three on a mission to nowhere (as in this old post).
Playing after church can be lots of fun (when it's nice out).

Telling stories

Mommy: "What are you doing?"
Me: "Telling the birds a story."
Mommy likes the story chair I found in the garage.

Saturday project with Mom

A few Saturdays ago Daddy had to work and it was nice outside. So, Mommy & I started working on a project about mid-afternoon. Here I am helping her take off the drawer knobs. I like using screwdrivers. The last time Mommy got one out to change some batteries I got one out and helped her too.
I helped her sand the drawers.
I also helped her prime everything.
I was very careful.
Then I helped Mommy paint over the white. She would come over and roll over the stuff I painted and I would say, "Good job making mine darker Mommy!"
When we were done painting the drawers I still wanted to paint so Mommy let me paint a piece of something. I worked on it for a long time.

This is what we painted. Mommy roughed it up a little bit so it looked a little antiquey.
Mommy says I could be a pro:
